Eumosone M Cream combination of Clobetasone and Miconazole. It is used to treat skin conditions associated with fungal infections. It is used for a short period to relieve redness, swelling, and itching associated with these skin problems. It reduces the production of certain chemicals in your body that are responsible for these symptoms. It is also used to treat fungal infections in such skin conditions as it stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
Eumosone M Cream may rarely cause side effects like burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are temporary and usually resolve with time. This cream is safe for use so serious side effects are very rare. However, consult your doctor immediately if you develop allergic symptoms like rashes, abnormal swelling, breathing difficulties, etc. It is recommended to go for a patch test (a procedure done on your skin to see if you are allergic to the cream) before using it on the affected skin.
Eumosone M Cream is meant for external use only. Wash your hands before and after applying the cream. Eumosone M Cream is applied as a thin layer of cream over the infected area, as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, nose, genital area (private part), or any open wounds. Rinse with water immediately if this medicine comes in contact with these areas. While you are using Eumosone M Cream, refrain from touching or scratching your infected skin as it can spread the infection to other areas as well.
If you stop this medicine early, there is a chance that the infection might recur, so continue using Eumosone M Cream for the prescribed duration. Avoid using this cream for more than the prescribed period. Consult your doctor if your condition does not improve. If you forget to use this medicine at the scheduled time, then apply the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost the time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose. Do not apply twice to compensate for the missed dose as it can increase the risk of side effects.
Eumosone M Cream should not be used in children below 12 years of age. Tell your doctor if you have a known allergy to this cream. Before using this cream, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding. In such conditions, Eumosone M Cream is not prescribed until absolutely necessary.
